Where these dates come from

Always confirm on the official page

Every date is taken from the directory's own published page, linked in its row. Directories change dates, sometimes for a single section, so check the official page before you plan around a deadline.

  • Calendar file (.ics): import into Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. Each deadline is an all-day event with its official link.
  • Spreadsheet (.csv): every dated deadline, including all 2,205 dated Chambers sections, with official sources.
  • Chambers research schedule: every Chambers guide and practice area with its submission deadline.
  • Directory guides: submission rules, matter limits and referee rules for each guide.

Questions about the calendar

How often is this calendar updated?

We check every date against the official directory pages, re-check when directories publish new cycles, and review the whole calendar at least monthly.

Are these dates official?

Each date is copied from the directory's own published page, which is linked in its row. Items we could not confirm on the official page are marked Unverified. We never guess a deadline; guides whose next cycle is not announced are listed separately as expected, with the pattern from the last cycle.

What happens if a directory moves a deadline?

Directories do move dates, sometimes section by section. The official page is always the final word, so confirm the date there before you plan around it. When we see a change we update the calendar, the CSV and the calendar file; if you subscribed to the calendar file, your app picks up the change on its next refresh.
